Requesting specialist advice and support from LOD
As well as providing our ‘open programme of courses (University Training Booking System)', the Learning and Organisational Development Team works with Schools and departments to support a wide range of people, team and organisational challenges.
The LOD Partnering team can work alongside you to understand the needs of your department or team, explore the cultural and people-related factors at play, and develop approaches that support engagement, inclusion, collaboration and positive change. This may include development activities, team-based conversations, facilitated workshops, leadership support, or other interventions tailored to your context.
Benefits of working with the Partnering Team include:
- Support that is tailored to the specific needs, priorities and challenges of your School, faculty or department.
- A collaborative approach that takes account of your local context, culture and ways of working
- Opportunities for colleagues to work together on shared challenges, strengthening relationships, communication and collaboration.
- Support to facilitate conversations, planning and problem-solving within teams.
- Development activities and resources that can be adapted to reflect local priorities, practices and processes where appropriate.
- Access to expertise and guidance to help teams and leaders navigate change, build capability and enhance organisational effectiveness.
Some tailored support may incur a charge. Where this applies, we will discuss any costs with you at an early stage so that expectations are clear from the outset.
Where face to face training is needed, this may be delivered by one of the Learning and Organisational Development team or one of our external associates depending on the topic(s) and time-frames.
